Refund Policy
I have a 15 day return policy
Meaning 15 days after delivery of your item or 15 days from the date of purchase at a retail location.
To start a return
Email me to request a return at cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com within 15 days of delivery or purchase at a retail location. Please include your valid receipt, invoice, or order confirmation as a screenshot or email attachment.
If your return request is accepted, I will invoice you to purchase a return shipping label. Once purchased, I will email a shipping label to you with instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to me without first emailing me a request to make a return will not be accepted.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
TO AVOID A RETURN SHIPPING CHARGE, please see PHOTOS for each garment's measurements. Please compare the measurements in PHOTOS to an item which currently fits you correctly and is measured lying flat.

Return for Exchange
I don't accept returns for exchange. But please contact me at cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com if you have any problems with your order.
Return for Refund
To be eligible for refund :
After your return request has been accepted, ship your item within 15 days of receiving the return shipping label. Refunds are for the price of the item only. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
Your item must be in the same condition as you received it.
- Items must not be washed, worn or damaged
- All original tags must be attached
Refunds

I will email you once I’ve received and inspected your returned item. I will send you an email to notify you whether the refund was approved.
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method the price of the item. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
I will notify you by email if a refund is not approved and why (for example, the item is not returned in its original condition). I will ship the item back to you . The buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Damages
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact me immediately at cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Because Lucy Roots Denim garments are made with thrifted used clothing imperfections from previous wear are part of the garment’s individuality and are not defects. Those imperfections are part of the garment’s artistic aesthetic.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
The following items can't be returned because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Return of sale items or gift cards
