Refund policy

I have a 14 day return policy.

You have 14 days to request a return by contacting me by email cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com;. Meaning 14 days after delivery of your item or 14 days from the date of purchase at a retail location.

Return for Refund

To be eligible for a return for refund your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

  • Items must not be washed, worn or damaged
  • All original tags must be attached
  • You must present a valid receipt, invoice, or order confirmation

To be eligible for refund after your return request has been accepted, ship your return item within 14 days of receiving the return label email. Refunds are for the price of the item only. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

 

Return for Exchange

I don't accept returns for exchange. But please contact me at cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com if you have any problems with your order.

 

To start a return, contact me by email cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com within 14 days of delivery or purchase at a retail location. Please include your valid receipt, invoice, or order confirmation as an email attachment.

If your return request is accepted, I will email you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return by email will not be accepted.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your returned item. I will send you an email to notify you if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method the price of the item. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

I will also notify you by email if a refund is not approved and why.  If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. I will ship the item back to you.

Please see sizing PHOTO for each item. Size is approximate. TO AVOID A RETURN SHIPPING CHARGE, please compare the measurements in PHOTOS to an item which currently fits you correctly and is measured lying flat.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact me immediately at cynthia@lucyrootsdenim.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Because Lucy Roots Denim garments are made with thrifted used clothing imperfections from previous wear are part of the garment’s individuality and are not defects. Those imperfections are part of the garment’s artistic aesthetic.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
The following items can't be returned because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Return of sale items or gift cards
