This Lucy Roots Denim original combines the beauty of Ankara fabric with an American Denim classic, the jean jacket, creating a uniquely funky fresh African American style that is easy to wear.

This denim jacket is an upcycle with a unique sleeve design of colorful Ankara fabric insets. The jacket back features a genuine leather applique of the Adinkra symbol ‘Agyinduwura’ and the word ‘Agyinduwura’ embroidered in a unique font. Agyinduwura is an Adinkra symbol of Faithfulness, Alertness, Dutifulness.

The asymmetrical peplum with functioning zippered pockets, asymmetrical front zipper +original buttons, and ribbon trim create a WOW Factor that will keep all eyes on you.

Included with the jacket is a one-yard cut piece of matching Ankara fabric that could be used as a headwrap or other DIY accessory that reflects your unique cultural style.
