Meticulously crafted with care and creativity. This unique jacket features a Genuine Leather stylized Ankh appliqué. The Ankh or key of life is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol used to represent the word for “life”.

The upcycle of this thrifted jacket includes under-sleeve and side seam insets of an Ankara print fabric with the words Mama Africa in the print. The insets add wearing ease to the original manufactured size L/G and the insets are lined for comfort. The Ankara print adds an unmistakable touch of Afrocentric style to an iconic American Classic – the denim jacket.

With its Asymmetrical Front metal 2-way zipper closure, decorative zipper waistband, and grosgrain ribbon trim this jacket exudes Afro-modern fashion while maintaining a classic edge.
