The ankh is often shown in the hands of important Egyptian figures, such as pharaohs and kings, preserving their immortality. Moreover, the ankh is commonly depicted in temples and in the grasp of major Egyptian gods It could also have a more physical connotation: the ankh may represent water, air, and the sun, which were meant to provide and preserve life in Ancient Egyptian culture.

Ankara fabric and genuine green leather applique on a thrifted jean pocket, with free form decorative stitching.

Each Pocket Patch is individually handcrafted and has variations in threads stitching and applique fabrics. This is for my DIY do-it-yourselfers to sew or glue, rivet etc., to your jeans, bags, tote bag, backpack or bucket hat; or as part of a quilt or wall hanging.
