This one-of-a-kind denim blue over-dyed denim jacket is giving life. 

The jacket’s back yoke features a genuine leather Ankh applique, outlined with free form metallic gold thread stitching. Vibrant Kente print Ankara fabric back panel adds an cultural flare to the jacket’s back. Figure flattering godet hem insets create a sophisticated silhouette. Gold braid trim accentuates the jacket’s reworked design features. 

The Ankh is one of the most recognizable symbols from ancient Egypt, known as "the key of life" or the "cross of life". Created by Africans long ago, the ankh is said to be the first--or original—cross. The ankh may represent water, air, and the sun, which were meant to provide and preserve life in Ancient Egyptian culture.

Kente is a colorful cloth which plays an important role in the culture of Ghana. It was developed by Ashanti people in the 17th century. Kente expresses the culture, social value, and ethics. It was worn by kings and queens in the old days. Each color on the cloth line represents some meaning.
